A design is only as good as the final execution. The most creative clothing designer is nothing if they cannot effectively communicate their idea to the factory or person who will be cutting and sewing the final garment.
A good technical package has a clean and easy-to-read layout, is thorough in explaining the idea (with appropriate specs and photos when necessary) and, most simply put, is correct. Small mistakes mean time lost in a busy season with quick turnover.
At Fox Head, Inc., I created the template for there technical packages in 2008, and it is still in effect today.
